Another Radical Colorado Professor Teaching Racism?
May 23, 2011 – 7:11 amJust when Ward Churchill had left Colorado behind for Tucson’s TUSD student revolt at the School Board meeting on Ethnic Studies curricula, it sounds like Colorado has another radical professor popping up on the RADAR.
Over at the Colorado Monitor Forum, it seems there’s an issue with water policy that’s become a platform for race bating, by a Professor Tom I. Romero II teaching at the Denver University.
According to Professor Tom I. Romero II, “in Denver, access to water has contributed to racial and social inequality, making the metropolis the epicenter of some of the most
intense and insidious resistance to racial justice and integration.”
Is Denver really holding water for ransom, keeping minorities from getting dibs at the spigot?
We’ll have to check on this one. Really? Denver “…an epicenter for insidious resistance to racial justice and integration”? Maybe Professor Tom I. Romero is just hacked off that Chipotle restaurants were founded in Boulder, instead of Denver. Come to think of it, last time I was in Denver, I couldn’t find any good Mex for lunch. Maybe he’s got a point there.
Ground Control to Professor Tom! Are you joking? Is the Mile High City depriving you of oxygen too?

What a crock. The problems people have are the politicians making EVERY issue some kind of liberal buzz word linked issue. Give everyone water at the best price in the most responsible way

Think about this when you are cutting your next check to DU. A fine school by reputation but typical of the liberal academia preference for politics and “activism” over education
