Repeal “Cap and Trade” – Climate Change Fraud

November 27, 2009 – 9:21 am

Dear Congressman:

Greetings. I hope that you are enjoying time with your family, away from politics, this Thanksgiving. When Congress resumes its’ business, I urge you to lead the House in conducting an agonizing reappraisal of the so-called “Cap and Trade” bill. agonizing, because so many treat man-made climate change as an article of faith; a reappraisal, because the security breach and resulting release of a treasure trove of e-mails from the East Anglican university research center show, conclusively, that the debate is not only not over, but that it never took place, as the climate-change prophets knowingly lied, deceived and distorted information to achieve their ends. the entire argument for man-made climate change, and thus the reason for “Cap and Trade,” are utterly discredited. There can be no case made whatsoever for burdening our economy, which is in the throes of a depression, with this unnecessary burden. Even if the science behind this bill was legitimate, to saddle America with this ball and chain now would be to consign millions of our fellow Americans to poverty. To support this bill, even if it were needed, on the one hand, while seeking economic development grants that may benefit manufacturing, on the other, begs the question of whether the damage done to them by the bill outweigh any good the grants – with all their strings attached – might do them. Knowing what we now know, “Cap and Trade” must be scrapped. We must also investigate to see if those who supported this bill, and those who stand to profit from it, were in on the fraud that has been perpetuated on the world. If so, they ought to be remanded to custody for prosecution. Please let me know what steps you plan to take to un-shackle America from this ill-considered legislation, and whether or not you support an investigation into the fraud that had been perpetrated on all of us.

Respectfully,

-ssgconway
