Freedom of Speech as long as it is approved

October 17, 2009 – 9:48 pm

Its funny how offended the politically correct collectivists get when you call them on dishonest, racist smear tactics.  The controversy of the biggest (audience) talk show host in the U.S. being effectively denied the freedom to invest his money is the latest example of socialist/collectivist and, yes, racist hypocrisy on the left.  The left and those who would be intimidated by these horrible tactics.  No spine corporate weenies caving in to racial hate mongers slandering, libeling and otherwish lying about someone.

Now we call him “Gas Windbag” in honor of his vainglorious, bombastic schtick, but isn’t he entitled to the same freedoms as anyone else to speak his mind?  He summarizes the situation very simply in the Wall Street Journal.

The self-righteous hypocrisy of so many leftist media heads is appalling.  While attempting to defend the infringement of Limbaugh’s supposed racist “perceptions he put out there” (sic) no name talk show host Warren Ballentin resorts to a blatant racial slur against fellow black Juan Williams.

Noted anti-semites and race merchants Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson of course jumped on the band wagon.  In this regard, to types such as these, Rush is “racist” because they want to believe him racist.  More importantly, they want YOU to believe him racist.  Despite the fact that he has never displayed, spoken or acted in a racist manner.

Too often the collectivists in our country work to perpetuate racism by being racist.  They need to in order to have “victim” groups to exploit for their own financial and political gain.  Those who support freedom for all and see “race” as the human race and not as color cards to play are their enemies.  They must be muzzled.  The “perceptions” they speak of are nebulous, made up and perpetuated by the leftists.  The “divisiveness” and “polarizing” the collectivist, racist hucksters complain of are actually their OWN behavior simply projected on to their enemies.  Facts mean nothing in the pursuit of suppressing any speech that the socialist types don’t deem correct.  Free speech isn’t divisive or polarizing except to those intolerant of divergent ideas and concepts.

The fascist political left doesn’t want the color blind society so eloquently espoused by Dr. King.  They don’t favor freedom they favor their collectivist vision of controlling others.  They don’t support freedom of speech unless it is speech they deem correct and wish to allow.

  2. I was tempted to post on this, but you’ve already covered everything I would have written very nicely. I’m not a Limbaugh fan, but I do not believe that any of the defamatory statements attributed to him have even a grain of truth in them, and the thugs who attacked him would have no credibility, even if those statements are true. No person of any decency whatsoever would give one iota of consideration to anything emitting from the mouths of Sharpton or Jackson, and any ‘church’ that would consider them to be ‘ministers’ is no Christian church. The only gospel that they preach is the gospel of profitable (for themselves) hate.

  3. irony much ?

  4. The only irony would be to the collectivist “progressive” mind who values government and its special interests ahead of individual liberty. Freedom oriented people have no interest in abridging the freedoms of even the most indoctrinated of sheople. Heinlein, of course, would disagree. He thought that freedom carried the responsibility of service and demonstration of capacity to think.
Only those who choose to believe the common leftist “call them what we are, accuse them of what we do” would see irony in the post. That’s because liberal reality is based on what they feel whereas for those who value freedom reality is rational and based on objective facts and critical thinking.
