Forced Endorsed Approval and Acceptance not Tolerance

The appointment of Kevin Jennings is another example of the “progressive” collectivist intent to redefine those things that they wish were natural to human reactions.  He used to be a driving force and officer of the Gay/Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) an organization that aims to inculcate the captive audience young that homosexual behavior is *normal* and acceptable.  His job is to oversee “public classroom safety“.  We think is to continue to move the public education system to the blind endorsement of homosexual behavior.

While homosexual attraction has complex origins in predisposition due to in-utero biology and behavioral conditioning from environmental circumstance, the behavior is volitional.  Further, in terms of simple physiology, the behavior is unarguably unnatural, perverse and aberrant.  This is a free country though, so we have no issue with people with such preference to behave as they wish as long as the rights of others are not infringed.

There is the rub.  GLSEN purports to be an “education” and “anti-bullying” group.  What their education consists of though, is the falsness of homosexual behavior being normal and advocating for its acceptance (not tolerated, accepted).  The larger homosexual activist population tries to equate innate qualities (race, gender) with a preference that is acted on through volitional behavior.  Dare to say that such behaviors are mutable and changeable and the wrath and vitriol and hate of (supposedly) “gay” people is palpable.  Ask PFOX and Exodus International.

This is accomplished by refusal to discuss the actual issues of homosexual behavior and to instead cast aspersions and make assumptions without basis in fact.  The knee jerk jabbering point is to use “homophobe” and “hate” as often as possible in reference to people who oppose endorsement of homosexual behaviors.  The lazy and ignorant just assume these motivations to be true and regular people are distracted by defending themselves from such unfair attributions.  Most people, I expect, don’t hate homosexuals and certainly don’t fear them.  Many people, I’m certain, find such behavior objectionable and/or disgusting and/or incomprehensible.  Objection and disgust aren’t remotely similar to “hate” or “fear” though.  Rather they are rooted in a visceral attitude that is innate to normal people.  That homosexual behavior is unarguably unnatural, perverse and aberrant.

To overcome this, homosexual activists seek to overturn the natural, the normal through the use of government coercion and educational indoctrination.  Thus the appointment of Mr. Jennings.
