Bad Mortgage Writ Large

Many in the politicrat class and the media (both left and right) expound on the “mortgage crisis”. For good reason. The left blame the banks. The right blame the Demoncrats who coerced the banks into poor lending practices. Both, sometimes, blame the idiots who took out mortgages they had no hope of paying should anything (anything AT ALL) go wrong.

Our ruling donkeys however are doing the same thing with the entire country. Set aside the grossly unconstitutional aspects (all?) of their “stimulus” and “budget”. The things the leftist/collectivist cabal wants to do cost money. Fruitlessly spent as we know governments can’t operate anything efficiently. The money these things cost however doesn’t exist, hasn’t been created yet. So, the left glibly forecasts “borrowing” the money. In effect, taking out a mortgage on our country. A mortgage they KNOW they can’t pay. Hmmm…strange how “consumers” can be scolded for doing such a thing but the *progressive* types don’t bat an eye.

Fortunately, your mortgage doesn’t have to be paid by your children. Also, generally, the property under mortgage is of good quality and will last. I think that this is assuredly NOT true for the national mortgage. Most of the borrowed money will go down a special interest rat-hole. The other and most heinous part is that the national mortgage WILL BE HANDED DOWN to your children and their children.

The donkeycrats love to spout their Jacksonian heritage. This is due to their general ignorance of history. Yes, Jackson was a champion of the common man who despised “big business” and banks. However Jackson actually PAID OFF the national debt and REDUCED the size and scope of government. Both things are what modern “conservatives” and libertarians would do.

So if you continue to vote for people who would spend you descendents into penury, you are a sheep, selfish and narrow, while claiming false altruism for your own selfish emotional wants. Elect constitutional originalists ONLY.
