Update to Update: Collins and Snowe’s lines and faxes are busy! If Reid can’t peel away to Republicans, he can’t make to cloture vote — and the deal would be dead.
Sad news to report: It looks like they are dragging the near corpse of Teddy Kennedy into the Senate and that two soon-to-be-ex-Republican senators are voting to do the deal.
