Media Tendency

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

Its interesting to me how the media "headlines" things. A good example is the UK Telegraph calling traditional Anglican bishops "Hardline" because of their opposition the the VERY NEW social/political correctness regarding homosexual clergy. Is traditional, hundreds of years old belief "hardline"?

If it is a “War”, Declare it

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Reading Ann Coulter is always a hoot. She asks the question today of whether the military or the courts should "run the war". That question would be slam dunk easy if the "war" we are fighting fit within the Constitutional definition of a "war". In other words, was declared ...

What is more important

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Voltaire is supposed to have said "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."In the U.S. we have the first amendment, although it is assaulted by the PC collectivists with regularity. Their position seems to be that people's hypersensitive ...

The collectivist always miss the mark. They want to blame constriction of energy supply on the very people who can relieve it. That is if the *evil* "Big Oil" weren't constrained by law and activism by those very same environmentalist and socialist collectivists.Donald Lambro (and other sensible people) ...

On Father’s Day

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

This message is dedicated to Fathers who fulfill that role diligently, with love and competently. Not for the sexual vagabonds who shirk and responsibility for the young people they are responsible for helping propagate. Honor your Father on this day. You may not appreciate him, you may not recognize ...

Agreement in Principle? The best solution is what people want

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

I agree with the comments on Well Put to a degree and if some additional context is applied. Who should be "funding" the technologies mentioned. "We" is awfully broad. We as individuals? Investing in businesses pursuing these technologies? I agree, unless they can't realize any return in ...

Well Put

Even pachyderms are better than jackasses (well...sometimes) Thanks to Powerline for this:
